About TheCyberTools
TheCyberTools is a free, privacy-first hub of security tools, developer utilities, AI prompt generators, HTML5 games, cheat sheets and verified software. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no accounts, no uploads, and nothing you type is sent to a server.
Why it exists
Most online "free tools" quietly send your input to a backend to be processed, logged, or monetised. For anything sensitive — a password, an API token, a private JSON payload, a hash of a confidential file — that's a risk you shouldn't have to take just to use a utility. TheCyberTools flips that: the work happens on your device, so your data never leaves it.
What "runs in your browser" means
The tools are built as static pages with small client-side islands. Hashing, Base64, JSON formatting, password and UUID generation, regex testing and the AI prompt builders all execute locally in JavaScript — there is no server round-trip and no AI API call. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work, which is the simplest proof that your input stays with you.
How we handle software listings
The software directory links to third-party downloads. We surface the official source, flag the operating systems supported, and prefer well-known, malware-scanned releases. Trademarks and logos of listed software belong to their respective owners; we don't rehost installers we can't vouch for.
Who it's for
Developers, security practitioners, students and anyone who wants a fast, no-nonsense utility without a sign-up wall or a privacy trade-off. Everything is free to use and engineered to load instantly.
