These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thecybertools.com (the “Site”), operated by Rahul Sharma (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

TheCyberTools provides free, browser-based utilities, HTML5 games, articles, cheat sheets, an AI prompt library, and a directory that links to third-party software. The tools are designed to run entirely on your device. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice.

2. Permitted use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may use the tools for personal and commercial work, subject to the restrictions below.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Site or its tools for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its infrastructure, or other users;
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the Site in a manner that burdens our infrastructure or violates these Terms;
  • Reverse engineer the Site to build a competing service, or remove any proprietary notices;
  • Use automated means to interact with advertisements, or otherwise engage in ad fraud.
Security tools — authorized use only. Some tools on this Site (for example, hash, password, and network-related utilities) are provided for legitimate purposes such as testing systems you own, security education, and defensive research. You must not use them to access, attack, or interfere with any system, network, or account without the owner’s explicit authorization. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use is lawful and authorized.

4. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, original text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Trademarks, product names, and logos of third-party software mentioned in our directory belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Content licensed from third parties (such as fonts) remains subject to its own license.

5. Third-party content, links and downloads

Our Software directory and articles link to third-party websites and to software published by other developers. We link only to sources we believe to be official (such as a developer’s own site or GitHub releases), and we do not host or distribute third-party installers ourselves. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee third-party software or websites, and we are not responsible for their content, safety, availability, or practices. Any download you make is at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to verify downloads (for example, by comparing checksums) before installing them.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all tools, content, and materials are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any tool’s output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our operators, contributors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, the tools, or any third-party software linked from the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
