Image Studio

Image Studio is a free online image editor that runs entirely in your browser. Upload one image and apply several operations in sequence — crop, resize, rotate, flip — then export as PNG, JPEG or WebP. Everything is processed locally and encoded only once, so nothing is uploaded and chaining edits doesn't stack compression loss.

Most tools do one thing, which means downloading and re-uploading between each step. Image Studio keeps your image in one place: upload once, then crop, resize, rotate and flip it in sequence, undo anything, and export when you're done. It all runs in your browser and encodes just once on export, so edits never leave your device and don't pile up compression artifacts.

How to use the Image Studio

  1. Drop an image in, or click to choose one (or arrive from another tool with it already loaded).
  2. Pick an operation — Resize, Crop, or Rotate & Flip — adjust it, and click Apply; repeat for as many steps as you like, undoing if needed.
  3. Choose the output format and quality, then Export and download.

Common use cases

  • Crop to a square and resize to 512×512 for an avatar in one go.
  • Rotate a photo, trim the edges, then shrink it for the web without re-uploading.
  • Fix orientation and export to WebP for a smaller file.

Tips

  • Because the studio only encodes once (on export), chaining resize + crop + convert won't stack JPEG/WebP compression loss the way separate tools would.
  • Use Undo and Reset freely — operations apply to a working copy, so your original is never changed until you export.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to edit it? +

No. Every operation runs in your browser with the Canvas API — your image never leaves your device and nothing is sent to a server.

Does doing several edits reduce quality? +

No more than necessary. The studio keeps your image as raw pixels between steps and encodes only once when you export, so chaining edits doesn't stack compression artifacts.

Can I undo an edit? +

Yes. Each applied operation can be undone step by step, and Reset returns to the original — your source image is never modified until you export.
